1 child aged 5 or younger (who shares a bed/futon with another) can stay for free of charge.

  • 2 adults + 1 child (age 3) = ¥18000
  • 2 adults + 2 children (age 1 and 3) = ¥21000
  • 2 adults + 2 children (age 3 and 7) = ¥21000
  • 2 adults + 2 children (age 7 and 9) = ¥24000

Long stay (7 nights or longer) … 10% off (Please enquire for monthly rental)

For example...
  • 2 adults (7 nights) = ¥18000 x 7 x 10%off = ¥113400

Kyoto city accommodation tax (¥200 per night per person) is not included.

Payment method

Payment is requested in cash upon arrival.
Credit card payment is accepted through PayPal at the time of booking.
(In case of cancellation, it is refundable after deducting 5 % commission fee. Kyoto city accommodation tax is payable separately in cash on arrival.)

Cancellation policy

Unlike a large hotel with many rooms, Murasakino Guesthouse is a family-run small guesthouse and the house is exclusively booked for you. Please kindly refrain from cancelling your booking casually after keeping it for a long time without certain intent to stay.

Check-in procedure

There is no staff at the Murasakino Guesthouse except the time of your checkin. We need to arrange our schedule in advance in order to bring you the house key. Please let us know your arrival time when you know it.

Check in … Between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.
  • If you need to be later than 9 p.m. for any reasons such as flight schedule, please make sure to keep quiet when you arrive so as not to disturb our neighbours.
  • Check-in before 3 p.m. or leaving luggage earlier is negotiable depending on the cleaning timing.
Check out … Until 11 a.m.

The stay can be extended by 300 yen per hour, if it does not interfere with the check-in time of our next guests, so please ask in advance. Note that after check-out we can keep your luggage for free while our staff is cleaning the facility. In that case, please return the key at check-out and come back to take your luggage by the time our staff is done with the cleaning.
